I just wanted to share a few songs that I have been listening to lately. I have either just discovered them or they have been on constant repeat for the past few weeks. Some of these artists are just amazing and I am obsessed with them in general. Hope you love it!
1. Owl City---"Kamikaze"
First of all...I LOVE OWL CITY! This is one of my favorite songs off of his new album, All Things Bright and Beautiful. It has been an obsession this summer, along with the album being pretty much perfect for the summertime.
2. The Middle East---"Blood"
I discovered this song from the movie, "Crazy Stupid Love". It is definitely worth seeing! I fell in love with this during the movie and it has been on CONSTANT repeat!
3. MGMT---"Electric Feel"
This makes me want to dance and be happy.
4. Yeah Yeah Yeahs---"Phenomena"
I chose this one because well it kind of rocks. But I have been obsessed with this band in general as of late. They inspire me. Perfect summer party music. =)
5. Sia---"Bring Night"
Another summer feel good party song!
6. Fleet Foxes---"Someone You'd Admire"
This band is another new love. They relax me. It is very nostalgic for me. Basically I listened to this on the plane on the way to visit my friends this summer, I was in tears! I love how emotionally evoking music is! Granted I did switch music because I didn't want anyone else to see me crying on the plane! =)
7. Noah and the Whale---"First Days of Spring"
So when he first starts singing I will admit I wasn't sure how I felt about this song. But as I listen to it all the way through, its extremely compelling! So make sure you listen to the ENTIRE song!
8. The Antlers---"I Don't Want Love"
I just discovered this. Their new album, Burst Apart, is great! This song is just beautiful to me.
9. Jimmy Eat World---"Invented"
Here is another you need to listen to all the way through! So I found this one from the movie, "I Am Number Four", and while the movie is so so I was very much in love with the music in it!
