Band of Horses

There are two ways I find new music:  PANDORA.com (customized radio that is amazing!) &  I go on itunes and look at Genius or I search an artist I like and then scroll down to see what others bought.  I have found some amazing new music this way.

That is how I found Band of Horses (both Pandora & itunes) they have just stuck.  Their new video "Laredo" premiered today so I thought I would share.  I also made a widget of a few songs I adore by them.  Hope you enjoy!

one rainy day playlist

I love listening to music while watching the rain drops hit my windshield before they are quickly wiped away.  Each ripple in a puddle creates its own rhythm, natures' dance.

I am slowly trying to create the perfect rainy day music playlist, over time it will be changed but soon I will have created the one that fits just right.

I find the rain inspiring as well, a good time to read or write.  Also to listen to music and just let your mind wander.

The time of the year makes a difference...Spring rain is most definitely less dreary than the cold winter rain.

Once Summer hits I look forward to that first pouring warm rain.

Until then this is what I have come up with, I was inspired by these songs during our last rainy day.

I have just discovered this particular band and I am sure you will hear more! They also create music separately. It's wonderful. =)
